Internship: AI-driven Predictive Maintenance for Industrial Tooling (IA NDT Project)

About the role

Airbus is offering a curricular practicum internship for students in their final year of study, based in Illescas, Spain. The internship runs from February to July 2026, part-time at 5 hours per day (25 hours per week, 8h-13h), with a tutor assigned for continuous monitoring. It combines professional skills development with a final-year training project (TFG).

Key responsibilities

• Analyze preventative maintenance schedules.
• Process data to optimize calibration and maintenance cycles.
• Support the development of AI-driven predictive maintenance models for industrial jigs and tools.
• Develop and implement a predictive tooling maintenance framework for manufacturing lines.

Required profile

• Final-year engineering student (Industrial, Aerospace, Mechanical, Automation or related fields).
• Fluent Spanish and a high level of English.
• Strong problem-solving skills, analytical thinking and proactivity.
• Team spirit and good collaboration skills.

Required skills

• CATIA, SAP, Python or similar programming and data analysis tools.
