Internship: Critical Path and Missing Parts Flow Optimization

About the role

Airbus offers a curricular practicum internship for students in their final year of study, based in Getafe, Spain. The internship runs from February to July 2027, part-time at 5 hours per day (25 hours per week, 8h-13h), with a tutor assigned for continuous monitoring. It is centred on a final-year training project (TFG) that improves the end-to-end material flow and its impact on planning.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze the end-to-end material flow and its impact on overall planning
• Deep dive into build processes and critical paths, including replanning affected by missing parts
• Identify flow bottlenecks and propose improvements to the overall process
• Predict stock-outs and adapt deliveries to shortages and production changes
• Link the work with big data and AI parallel projects

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering (final year)
• Minimum English B2 (C1 desirable) and Spanish B1
• General knowledge of aeronautics and production
• Proactive, open-minded, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Team spirit and ability to work in an international environment
