Internship Field Agronomist Assistant (Feb-May 2027)

About the role

Staphyt, a group of more than 600 employees active in agronomic experimentation, regulatory advice and registration file coordination, is looking for motivated students for its 2027 internship programme in Sevilla, Spain. Two positions are available between February and May 2027, within the FIELD department.

Key responsibilities

• Take part in agricultural field trials (GEP/GLP) from their setup to completion.
• Monitor crop development and observe the effects of different agricultural products under real field conditions.
• Contribute to evaluating product efficacy and crop selectivity.
• Collect reliable field data and help ensure the quality and accuracy of trial results.
• Work alongside experienced field technicians and learn the stages of agricultural experimentation.
• Assist with establishing, monitoring and managing trials in different crops.
• Observe and assess weeds, pests and diseases according to trial objectives.
• Take part in field assessments of herbicides, fungicides, insecticides, biostimulants, biocontrol products and fertilisers.
• Contribute to residue trials under GLP, including soil, plant material, honey and dislodgeable foliar residue studies.
• Record, organise and enter trial data using ARM software, learning the quality procedures for agricultural experimentation.

Required profile

• Currently studying agriculture, agronomy or a related field.
• Passionate about agriculture, plant production and crop protection.
• Eager to apply academic knowledge to real agricultural challenges.
• Interested in objective field observations, experimentation and data collection.
• Proactive, curious, organised, responsible and attentive to detail.
• Team player who enjoys working outdoors and collaborating.
• Spanish or English language skills.
