IT System Engineer – Identity Management

About the role

Join a growing, international IT team delivering cloud‑based solutions for high‑profile projects. As part of the System Administration team in Málaga, you will focus on Identity Management, ensuring data integrity, availability and security while supporting continuous improvement of server and cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Become an active member of the System Administration team.
• Support Identity and Access Management (IAM) initiatives, including ISO 27001 compliance.
• Assist in the installation, configuration and administration of servers, storage and backup systems.
• Monitor and maintain the availability, performance and security of IT services and infrastructure.
• Collaborate on Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft 365 and Exchange solutions.
• Develop and maintain scripts to automate routine tasks and improve operational efficiency.
• Participate in infrastructure projects such as migrations, expansions and optimisations.
• Create technical documentation and guidelines for the team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT training or comparable qualification.
• At least 3 years of professional experience with a strong understanding of Identity Management processes and application security.
• Experience with Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Good knowledge of access‑governance principles.
• Hands‑on experience with Windows Server and/or Linux Server environments.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and cloud‑based identity solutions.
• Ability to work collaboratively in project settings and communicate with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Service‑oriented mindset and proactive attitude toward continuous improvement.
• High level of English (C1).
