IT Systems Administrator (2 positions)

About the role

InstitutionALBA is seeking two IT Systems Administrators to join its IT Systems Section within the Computing Division. The role involves administering a large‑scale IT environment that supports hundreds of users and thousands of devices across a major research infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement IT systems projects, from planning to deployment.
• Manage and maintain existing IT infrastructures, including servers, network devices and end‑user systems.
• Ensure proper administration and operation of assigned IT services.
• Run procurement processes to acquire equipment and services needed for system upkeep.
• Provide technical support to end users and assist with user‑focused IT services.

Required profile

• Proven experience supporting hundreds of users, preferably in an international or research environment.
• Solid expertise managing large‑scale IT infrastructures with thousands of connected devices and hundreds of servers.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and handle project‑level responsibilities.
