Jefe/a de Partida – Hotel Barceló Nura

About the role

The Hotel Barceló Nura is looking for a motivated Jefe/a de Partida to lead a kitchen station. You will be responsible for organizing food preparation, supervising staff, and ensuring high standards of hygiene and quality in a dynamic hotel environment.

Key responsibilities

• Organise the preparation of the station, including raw materials and supplies, and allocate tasks for efficient workflow.
• Supervise and develop recipes based on menu cycles and food‑handling best practices.
• Direct, organise and supervise assistants and cooks in the preparation of dishes for the station.
• Oversee cleaning, preservation and replenishment of food items within the station.
• Ensure proper recording and application of hygienic‑sanitary controls.
• Assist with basic receiving, storage and internal replenishment following established procedures.

Required profile

• Higher Vocational Training in Kitchen Management and/or Hospitality, or a degree in Tourism with HACCP training.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar position.
• High level of English is desirable.
• Knowledge of office software and kitchen equipment is valued.
• Strong taste and smell memory, creativity and manual dexterity.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, communication, teamwork, planning and problem‑solving abilities.
