About the role

The Front Office Manager will lead the reception area of Barceló Carmen in Granada, ensuring smooth guest check‑in/out processes and high service standards. This position coordinates daily operations, manages the team, and works closely with other departments to maintain optimal occupancy and guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organize, coordinate and supervise all sections reporting to the reception manager.
• Monitor daily room reservation planning, occupancy reports, VIP lists and no‑show records.
• Verify group rooming lists, allocate rooms and manage changes.
• Personally attend to guest check‑ins, assign rooms and handle complaints.
• Review and sign the incident log, ensure effective inter‑departmental communication.
• Convene staff meetings, create work schedules, record attendance and manage staffing changes.
• Recommend sanctions, promotions and participate in recruitment for the department.
• Propose operational improvements and support room‑rate policy decisions.

Required profile

• Degree in Tourism, Business Administration or related field, or a medium‑level hospitality qualification.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar reception or front‑office role.
• High level of English; additional languages are a plus.
• Familiarity with office software and reservation systems.
• Strong communication, customer orientation, teamwork, planning and problem‑solving abilities.
