Junior Information Security Officer

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Junior Information Security Officer to join our team and support the development of our security programme. Working closely with the CIO, you will gain hands‑on experience across the full security lifecycle while being mentored by an experienced practitioner.

Key responsibilities

• Configure and maintain Microsoft Defender tools.
• Monitor, triage and follow up on security alerts.
• Assist in risk assessments and contribute to policy drafting and rollout.
• Document security processes, findings and remediation actions.
• Support vulnerability management activities and basic SIEM monitoring.

Required profile

• 0–3 years of experience in IT or information security (recent graduates welcome).
• Strong interest in cybersecurity and willingness to learn.
• Fluent in Spanish and English with good written communication skills.
• Ability to work under guidance and follow structured processes.

Required skills

• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and Entra ID.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Defender.
• Understanding of SIEM concepts.
• Exposure to vulnerability management practices.
