Junior IT Support Specialist – Helpdesk

About the role

We are looking for an energetic Junior IT Support Specialist to join our Barcelona office. This entry‑level position offers hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced enterprise environment, supporting both Windows and Apple workstations.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and support PCs, Apple hardware, printers and USB peripherals.
• Receive and respond to help‑desk tickets via phone or email.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve workstation and peripheral issues on‑site and remotely.
• Log, report and monitor all support requests following established procedures.
• Maintain high user satisfaction through timely follow‑up and clear communication.

Required profile

• Fluent English with strong written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal abilities and a customer‑focused attitude.
• Highly self‑motivated, detail‑oriented and able to work collaboratively.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows 11 Pro.
• Familiarity with macOS.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Basic networking concepts – DHCP, DNS, cabling.
• Antivirus and spyware removal techniques.
• Ability to open computers and replace defective hardware components.
• Understanding of Microsoft Active Directory (a plus).
