Junior IT Support Specialist

About the role

BizAway is looking for a proactive Junior IT Support Specialist to join its IT & Security team in Barcelona. This early‑career position offers hands‑on experience with routine tickets, employee requests, device management, and workplace technology across a fast‑growing B2B travel‑tech scale‑up.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑level and basic second‑level support for hardware, software, identity, SaaS and connectivity issues.
• Manage support tickets from diagnosis through resolution or escalation.
• Assist with employee onboarding, access changes, and off‑boarding.
• Administer users, groups, devices and permissions in JumpCloud, Google Workspace, Slack and Atlassian.
• Prepare, configure, deploy and maintain Windows and macOS laptops, mobile devices and peripherals.
• Troubleshoot Windows, macOS, browser, Wi‑Fi, VPN, DNS and general connectivity problems.
• Support office technology such as meeting rooms, printers, network equipment and other workplace systems.
• Maintain accurate records of tickets, users, devices and assets.
• Participate in device‑assignment, stock management, hardware‑lifecycle activities and technology roll‑outs.
• Travel to BizAway locations in Spain and other countries to provide on‑site support and assist with IT projects.

Required profile

• Early‑career professional with practical IT support experience.
• Comfortable investigating common technical issues and communicating with users.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Barcelona and travel as needed.
• Ability to follow device‑management policies, security controls and endpoint‑configuration standards.
