Junior Legal Counsel – Litigation

About the role

Insud Pharma is seeking a Junior Legal Counsel – Litigation to join its Legal Department in Madrid. Reporting to the Dispute Resolution Director, you will support commercial litigation, pre‑litigation risk management, and provide legal assistance to clinical trials and strategic projects.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and review procedural documents for civil, commercial, criminal, and administrative proceedings.
• Manage litigation matters independently or with external counsel, ensuring deadlines and evidence analysis.
• Maintain consistency of legal arguments across jurisdictions.
• Support pre‑litigation risk assessment and propose mitigation strategies.
• Liaise between internal stakeholders and external counsel.
• Provide legal support to Clinical Trials, R&D, and negotiate contracts with CROs, vendors, hospitals, and partners.
• Monitor ESG/EHS regulatory compliance and contribute to related risk assessments.
• Participate in continuous improvement of litigation processes, templates, and internal policies.
• Engage in legal‑tech initiatives and leverage AI tools for efficiency and knowledge management.

Required profile

• Law degree (LLB or equivalent).
• 1–3 years of litigation experience, either in a law firm or in‑house.
