Junior Occupational Health and Safety Analyst

About the role

Glovo, part of the Delivery Hero Group, is looking for a Health and Safety Analyst to join its People's team at the Barcelona headquarters. The role supports and controls health and safety matters under Spanish law, helps prevent work-related accidents and keeps the company compliant with local regulations, in a fast-paced startup environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support and control all health and safety matters according to Spanish law
• Design and propose corrective measures for detected risks, at technical and organisational level, and improve working conditions
• Carry out internal audits across workplaces and manage labour inspections related to occupational risk prevention
• Investigate occupational accidents and manage the distribution of personal protective equipment to employees
• Create emergency plans and run emergency drills
• Manage health surveillance and coordinate business activities (CAE)
• Cooperate with the international team on H&S matters and coordinate external providers
• Design and revise work instructions, and impart and follow up on H&S training

Required profile

• Masters degree in Occupational Risk Prevention under Spanish regulation (one of three specialisations)
• Previous experience handling health and safety responsibilities
• Fluent written and spoken English
• Able to work in a fast-paced, growing start-up and with different levels of management
• Organised, proactive, creative, hands-on, with strong communication skills

Required skills

• Advanced Office and Google Sheets
• Knowledge of Spanish occupational risk prevention regulations
