Junior ServiceNow Developer (ITSM) - Hybrid in Madrid

About the role

Julius Baer is looking for a Junior ServiceNow Developer to join its IT Service Management engineering team in Madrid. You will mainly develop, but not be restricted to, ITSM solutions supporting the Business-as-Usual stream, working closely with developers, process owners and IT stakeholders in a globally regulated environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build custom applications, forms, modules and workflows for Incident, Problem, Change and Request Management
• Develop and optimise automated processes to increase efficiency, reduce manual effort and strengthen compliance
• Integrate ServiceNow with external systems via REST/SOAP APIs, middleware or integration hubs
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and troubleshoot issues
• Ensure developments meet security protocols, access controls and audit requirements in line with financial industry standards

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of practical ServiceNow configuration and scripting experience
• Basic understanding of ITIL frameworks (Incident, Problem, Change Management) and their implementation in enterprise systems
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, including reading logs and debugging
• Collaborative mindset, good communication and willingness to work in agile teams
• Fluent written and spoken English; additional languages are an asset
• Availability to work in a hybrid model in Madrid (three days a week)

Required skills

• GlideApi, JSON/XML, REST/SOAP, Business Rules and client scripts on ServiceNow
• Familiarity with web technologies and integration patterns (REST/SOAP)
• Certifications such as CSA or Associate Developer are advantageous but not mandatory
