Junior Supply Planner

About the role

As a Junior Supply Planner you will translate the mid‑term production plan into short‑term schedules, ensuring that manufacturing lines are aligned with market demand and material availability. You will act as the main liaison between plants, contract manufacturers and the supply chain hub.

Key responsibilities

• Convert a 12‑month production plan into 1‑2 month short‑term plans and rough‑cut capacity plans.
• Develop line‑by‑line scheduling plans, considering capacity, utilization and timing.
• Coordinate with plant and hub material management to secure production schedules.
• Identify short‑term finished‑goods requirements and prioritize business needs.
• Monitor daily actuals against the weekly plan, track adherence and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain clean system data, order status and parameter adjustments.
• Provide inputs for supply reviews, highlighting availability issues and growth opportunities.
• Support new product introductions and phase‑outs in collaboration with lifecycle and material planning teams.
• Analyze inventory policies, manage slow‑moving stock and perform country‑specific KAM activities.
• Communicate risks promptly to leadership and collaborate across the SCP hub.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Engineering with a supply‑chain focus.
• 1‑2 years of experience in supply planning or a related role; FMCG experience is a plus.
• Fluent English, both spoken and written.
• Strong analytical mindset and effective communication skills.
• Problem‑solving attitude and ability to work in a diverse, global environment.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with SAP (advantage).
