Junior Support & QA Engineer – Devices

About the role

Join a fast‑growing fintech company as a Junior Support & QA Engineer focused on devices. You will work at the intersection of quality assurance and technical support, helping to validate firmware and Android APK releases and acting as a key liaison between support and engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manually validate firmware and APK releases, creating and executing test cases for device functionality, connectivity and edge cases.
• Support test‑automation initiatives, prioritize automation candidates and verify results.
• Serve as the first technical point of contact for support escalations, ensuring tickets are well documented and resolving straightforward issues.
• Analyze device and application logs to diagnose field problems and escalate complex cases to firmware or APK engineers.
• Develop and improve internal tooling that enables the support team to diagnose and resolve issues more efficiently.
• Assist with advanced installations, pilots and new client integrations, providing hands‑on technical support for hardware and connectivity questions.
• Maintain up‑to‑date documentation of known issues, work‑arounds and troubleshooting guides.

Required profile

• Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications or a related hardware‑focused field (or equivalent hands‑on experience).
• Strong interest in the full stack of connected devices, including hardware, firmware, Android and the applications that run on them.
