Laboratory Technician

About the role

We are looking for a Laboratory Technician to join our Barcelona team, supporting the analysis and development of phytosanitary products. The role involves handling samples throughout the product development cycle and ensuring data quality for regulatory dossiers.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse samples from all stages of product development using a range of analytical techniques.
• Prepare and submit accurate data reports and technical documentation.
• Assist in the transfer, development and validation of analytical methods for active ingredients and finished formulations.
• Support dossier preparation by evaluating developing products.
• Maintain laboratory records in compliance with SOPs and company policies.
• Write and update Standard Operating Procedures, protocols and specifications.
• Manage laboratory equipment, standards, stock control and general lab tasks.

Required profile

• Degree in Life Sciences or related field, with a focus on analytical development.
• Proficiency in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
• Strong analytical mindset, ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Excellent organizational, planning and time‑management skills.
• Self‑motivated team player with attention to detail.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with HPLC, UPLC, LC‑MS, GC‑MS, UV spectroscopy, IR spectroscopy and PSD.
• Familiarity with potentiometric titration, KF titration and related analytical techniques.
• Knowledge of analytical method transfer and validation processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
