Lead Hardware Engineer (Consultant)

About the role

This Lead Hardware Engineer position is focused on developing advanced electronic products from concept through production. The role provides technical leadership across hardware design activities while supporting the growth of the engineering team. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high‑quality, reliable products.

Key responsibilities

• Lead hardware development projects from requirements definition through release.
• Design analogue and digital electronic circuits.
• Develop schematics and support PCB design and review activities.
• Guide hardware engineers through design, testing and troubleshooting.
• Perform design reviews and provide technical direction.
• Support board bring‑up, verification and product qualification.
• Collaborate with software, mechanical and systems engineers.
• Support manufacturing, NPI and product improvement activities.

Required profile

• Degree in Electronic Engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong experience in electronic hardware design.
• Good understanding of analogue and digital electronics.
• Experience developing products through the full development lifecycle.
• Ability to lead technical projects and mentor engineers.
• Hands‑on experience with lab testing and debugging.
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
