Lead HR Business Partner – Spain

About the role

We are looking for a seasoned Lead HR Business Partner to join our People team in Madrid. Reporting to the VP of HR Business Partnering, you will co‑create and execute the HR strategy for Spain, partnering closely with the CTO, technology leaders and the Works Council.

Key responsibilities

• Act as strategic advisor to the CTO, technology leadership and product leads on talent development, performance, culture and organisational design.
• Lead HR delivery for Spain, ensuring end‑to‑end processes, policy compliance and timely resolution of escalations.
• Design and implement HR initiatives aligned with best practice and the company’s people strategy.
• Coach leaders at all levels to build organisational capability.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development and other Centres of Excellence on people programmes.
• Maintain employment policies, ensure legal compliance and communicate policy application.
• Analyse HR metrics, develop insights‑driven strategies and support employee engagement surveys.
• Support talent acquisition, global mobility, graduate recruitment and internal secondments.
• Champion diversity, inclusion and act as a culture ambassador.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Senior or Lead HR Business Partner, preferably in a unionised, global e‑commerce environment.
• Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices and employment regulations.
• Track record of designing and delivering innovative people strategies and programmes.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and stakeholder‑management skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
