Lead Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer

About the role

We are looking for a Lead Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) Developer to design, build and optimise omnichannel journeys for our pharma clients. The role combines hands‑on development with technical leadership, ensuring scalable, compliant solutions across the Marketing Cloud suite.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and develop journeys in Journey Builder, including multi‑branch paths, triggers and decision splits.
• Create and maintain automations in Automation Studio, using SQL‑based segmentation and scheduled processes.
• Develop modular email and content blocks with AMPscript, Server‑Side JavaScript and data extensions.
• Implement and optimise Einstein predictive features and Marketing Cloud Personalisation.
• Integrate SFMC with enterprise systems (CRM, CMS, web platforms) and ensure data‑governance compliance.
• Conduct final audits, quality checks and performance monitoring of all campaigns.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a senior SFMC developer, preferably in a pharmaceutical or regulated environment.
• Strong understanding of data governance and ability to translate business goals into technical solutions.
• Comfortable collaborating with platform architects and leading technical design discussions.

• Salesforce Marketing Cloud – Journey Builder, Automation Studio.
• AMPscript, Server‑Side JavaScript (SSJS), SQL.
• Marketing Cloud Personalisation (MCP) and Einstein features.
• Enterprise integrations (CRM, CMS, web APIs).
