Legal Specialist – Remote (Contractor)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Legal Specialist to join our team remotely on a contract basis. In this role you will work closely with product and domain experts to shape legal solutions that protect the business while enabling growth.

Key responsibilities

• Review, draft, and negotiate contracts to optimize outcomes and manage risk.
• Conduct legal research and case analysis, delivering actionable recommendations.
• Support litigation and dispute resolution by preparing documentation and assisting counsel.
• Assess regulatory compliance and perform due‑diligence for corporate transactions, including M&A.
• Design system prompts and rubrics for legal‑focused applications, managing multi‑turn conversational flows.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and uphold professional ethics in all communications.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop and improve legal tools and applications.

Required profile

• Proven expertise in legal principles, corporate law, and regulatory compliance.
• Strong contract review and negotiation abilities across diverse legal domains.
• Demonstrated experience in case analysis, risk assessment, and due‑diligence.
• Hands‑on experience supporting litigation and dispute resolution.
