Logistics Manager – Barcelona

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Logistics Manager to oversee daily logistics operations for MG Motor in Spain. Based in Barcelona, you will coordinate vehicle flow, manage compound activities, and ensure seamless communication with transport partners and dealerships.

Key responsibilities

• Assist supply and sales teams with accurate arrival forecasts and vehicle turnaround planning.
• Organise vehicle reception, inspection, storage, and dispatch within the compound, maintaining up‑to‑date stock records.
• Identify, report, and track vehicle damages, coordinating repairs with workshops, inspection agencies and insurers.
• Serve as the primary contact for dealerships regarding deliveries, damage reports and logistics updates.
• Prepare logistics reports, delivery schedules, compound status and damage summaries.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement initiatives to boost compound efficiency and reduce damages.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics, vehicle handling or compound operations (automotive preferred).
• Strong organisational and communication abilities with attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and collaborate across departments.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and related tools.
