Logistics Systems Engineer

About the role

Join the Logistic Systems team at Airbus Helicopters to design and improve warehouse and shop‑floor logistics across the company. You will work on layout, flow, and process design to ensure on‑time delivery of material to the point of use.

Key responsibilities

• Design intra‑ and inter‑site logistics processes and infrastructure to boost efficiency and accuracy.
• Create warehouse layouts and specify infrastructure to optimise space utilisation and material flow.
• Collaborate with internal customers to define safe handling means for material.
• Develop and maintain clear logistics work instructions.
• Ensure solutions align with strategic, compliance and environmental policies.
• Monitor process execution, identify inconsistencies and support corrective actions.
• Support the digitalisation team in configuring SAP EWM according to global strategy.
• Analyse shop‑floor logistics flows (inbound, picking, kitting, outbound) to identify improvement levers.
• Provide functional support to site leads and warehouse teams during deployment.

Required profile

• 5‑8 years of experience in logistics engineering, field operations or logistics platforms.
• Experience with SAP systems, ideally the Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) module.
• Knowledge of the aerospace environment and complex industrial settings.
• Fluent English.
• Proven cross‑functional project experience.
