M&A Associate – Infrastructure & Industrials

About the role

Join Santander Corporate & Investment Banking as an M&A Associate focused on Infrastructure and Industrials. Based in the Luca de Tena office in Madrid, you will work on high‑profile cross‑border transactions, gaining exposure to live deals from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the execution of complex M&A and capital‑markets transactions.
• Oversee financial analysis, valuation, and modelling exercises.
• Develop and present strategic advice to senior clients, including board‑level executives.
• Coordinate with internal product teams and external advisers such as accountants and lawyers.
• Drive marketing initiatives and support business‑development efforts.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to recruiting activities.

• Excellent communication skills and confidence presenting to senior stakeholders.
• Proactive attitude with a collaborative, cross‑border perspective.
