Maintenance Shopfloor Operator

About the role

Join PowerCo's Operations Department at the new gigafactory in Sagunto, Valencia, and help keep the production line running smoothly. You will work on preventive, corrective and basic predictive maintenance of automated and electrical equipment, supporting the transition to clean mobility in Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive, corrective and basic predictive maintenance on automated and electrical equipment.
• Troubleshoot machinery, robotics, sensors and control systems, escalating issues when necessary.
• Support production during startups, alarms and changeovers to ensure safe and stable operation.
• Record all maintenance activities in CMMS (SAP PM, Maximo or similar) following established procedures.
• Participate in 5S, TPM and continuous‑improvement initiatives to maintain equipment reliability and workplace organization.

Required profile

• Vocational training (FP Medio or Superior) in industrial electricity, automation, electromechanics or related fields.
• At least 2 years of maintenance experience in industrial, production, automotive, chemical or similar environments.
• Basic knowledge of automated equipment, electrical systems and robotics (PLCs, HMIs, sensors, drives).
• Ability to work safely, solve problems and collaborate with production and quality teams.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft 365, SAP/MES or similar).
• Willingness to work in Sagunto and to cover rotating shifts.
