Maintenance Supervisor – Industrial Operations

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Surface Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor to lead mechanical maintenance activities for surface facilities and industrial equipment in Huelva, Spain. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance, coordinating shutdowns and ensuring equipment reliability, safety and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance activities for mechanical systems.
• Plan and coordinate maintenance shutdowns and work schedules.
• Monitor equipment condition and continuously improve maintenance strategies.
• Coordinate work orders, labour, materials and maintenance resources.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and quality standards.
• Support reliability improvement and predictive maintenance programmes.
• Manage critical spare parts and liaise with internal departments.
• Maintain maintenance records, KPIs and technical documentation.
• Assist with maintenance budget planning.
• Lead and develop a team of 6‑10 maintenance technicians.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance Engineering, Chemical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of mechanical maintenance experience in industrial environments, preferably mining or heavy industry.
• Proven experience leading maintenance teams and coordinating multiple projects.
• Strong knowledge of preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance practices.
