Management Accountant – France & Spain

About the role

Stuart, a sustainable last‑mile logistics company, is seeking a Management Accountant to support its operations in France and Spain. Based in Barcelona, you will join a regional accounting team and ensure the accuracy and scalability of the financial books across borders.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate accounting books and the General Ledger for French and Spanish entities, complying with local GAAP.
• Execute standardized month‑end close procedures and meet all reporting deadlines.
• Prepare and file local VAT returns and respond to tax enquiries.
• Support internal and external auditors by preparing schedules and documentation.
• Assist with billing workflows using Oracle NetSuite ERP and Payflow integrations.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather financial data and improve processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in an accounting role.
• Full professional proficiency in French and English; fluency in Spanish is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of French and Spanish local GAAP and VAT reporting.
• Experience with month‑end close, GL management, and audit support.
• Team‑player attitude with the ability to build relationships across functions.

Required skills

• Oracle NetSuite ERP (NetSuite) proficiency.
• Advanced Excel skills.
