Material Planning Specialist

About the role

Persán is seeking a Material Planning Specialist to ensure seamless material supply for its production lines. You will work closely with production, procurement, quality and suppliers to keep inventory balanced and support continuous manufacturing.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute material supply based on production demand, manufacturing plans and current inventory levels.
• Analyze consumption patterns, trends and deviations, recommending adjustments to stock policies and MRP parameters such as lot sizes, lead times and coverage levels.
• Monitor daily material availability, identify risks and make rapid decisions to protect production continuity.
• Coordinate with Production, Suppliers, Quality and Procurement to align needs, timelines and standards.
• Manage supplier‑related incidents including delays, logistics issues, documentation and material quality concerns.
• Optimize procurement processes using data and KPIs (OTIF, inventory days, stock‑outs, planning efficiency).
• Participate in continuous‑improvement initiatives such as digitalisation, MRP automation and production process enhancements.

Required profile

• Degree in Industrial or Organization Engineering (Master’s degree is a plus).
• High level of English and Spanish (minimum C1).
• Strong analytical mindset, proactive problem‑solving and ability to work under urgency.
• Excellent communication, teamwork and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Knowledge of SAP and/or MRP systems (desired but not mandatory).
