M&E Operations Specialist (Entry Level)

About the role

Amex GBT is hiring an M&E Operations Specialist (Project Analyst) in Madrid to support the RAV - Request a Vendor Team in Meetings & Events. The role manages information collection, internal support to ensure Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are followed, and data management within GBT's tools. It suits someone who communicates well with internal stakeholders and works in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.

Key responsibilities

• Collect information and review and validate it
• Review and validate SOP documents and processes
• Work with internal stakeholders (Meeting Planners) so that accurate information is provided
• Track and report activities
• Help improve inter-departmental processes and communications
• Manage your own workload to reach goals and take part in new projects in the area
• Work with urgency to meet the department's service level agreement

Required profile

• Spanish is a must
• Advanced spoken and written English
• Attention to detail, ability to handle multiple demands and flexibility with change
• Ability to work both as a team member and independently
• Knowledge of the meetings and events industry is a plus

Required skills

• Microsoft Office: Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and similar
• NetSuite is not required
