Mechanical Completion Engineer – Karimun Yard, Indonesia

About the role

We are seeking a Mechanical Completion Engineer to join our team at Karimun Yard in Indonesia. The role focuses on coordinating walk‑downs, verifying construction work, and managing punch‑list closure to ensure successful project hand‑over.

Key responsibilities

• Validate and maintain the Mechanical Completion database within the Completion Management System (CMS).
• Verify that ITR/check sheets align with identified items and project documentation.
• Coordinate with Construction, Fabrication, Procurement, Engineering, Planning, Warehouse and Commissioning teams.
• Participate in project review meetings to confirm compliance with Mechanical Completion requirements.
• Oversee preservation activities throughout the Mechanical Completion phase.
• Initiate and conduct MC walk‑downs according to the defined sequence.
• Upload all punch lists to CMS and ensure they follow the original punch process.
• Issue Mechanical Completion Certificates for assigned subsystems.

Required profile

• Engineering degree in Electronic, Electrical or Mechanical engineering.
• 1‑3 years of relevant experience in site/commissioning environments.
• Fluent English; Italian or Indonesian language skills are a plus.
• Strong coordination and communication abilities.
• Proficiency with standard office tools.
