Mechanical Design Engineer

About the role

DIS/CREADIS Spain is expanding its Mechanical Solutions & Services team. The Mechanical Design Engineer will work on demanding projects for renewable energy, defence, themed entertainment and industrial manufacturing, collaborating with clients and international engineering teams throughout the product lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical solutions from concept through detailed design.
• Create 3D models and produce technical documentation.
• Integrate mechanical systems and equipment into larger assemblies.
• Support testing, validation and design verification activities.
• Ensure designs meet performance, safety and quality requirements.
• Collaborate with clients and cross‑functional international teams.
• Participate in technical reviews and communicate recommendations.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to junior engineers (senior profiles).

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Aeronautics or related field.
• Strong technical fundamentals and curiosity.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of design tasks.
• Experience level may range from junior (0‑3 years) to senior (7+ years).
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
