Mechanical Engineer – Relocation to Spain

About the role

Oesia Group is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join a high‑profile hardware project in Madrid. The role offers a stable, full‑time position with a balanced work schedule and the opportunity to work on aerospace and defence‑grade communication and navigation systems.

Key responsibilities

• Develop advanced 3D models, complex assemblies and detailed technical drawings using SolidWorks.
• Design and integrate enclosures, structures, mounts, cabling and fixation elements for aerospace or defence environments.
• Participate across the full product lifecycle from requirements definition to delivery, including validation and certification.
• Define mechanical architectures optimised for thermal management, structural integrity and environmental resistance.
• Perform mechanical analyses (structural, vibration, thermal) to ensure robustness under demanding conditions.
• Prepare complete technical documentation, including drawings, BOMs, specifications and certification deliverables.
• Conduct technical reviews to guarantee quality standards in high‑criticality projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in hardware design, preferably in aerospace, defence or high‑reliability sectors.
• Proven ability to manage documentation and version control in a collaborative environment.
