MRO LMA Technician B1/B2 for A330 MRTT

About the role

Airbus Defence and Space is seeking a qualified MRO LMA Technician (B1/B2) to support the A330 MRTT programme at its San Pablo MRO centre near Seville. The role involves performing both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on the A330 MRTT fleet, ensuring airworthiness and compliance with aviation regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled and unscheduled inspections on A330 MRTT aircraft.
• Perform preventive, corrective and repair tasks in line with approved maintenance data and regulations.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, structural, electrical, avionics and system issues.
• Certify maintenance actions, complete aircraft records and maintain regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, quality, planning and control teams to deliver on‑time, on‑cost, on‑quality work.
• Support continuous‑improvement, operational‑excellence and Lean initiatives.
• Participate in technical training and mentor junior technicians.

Required profile

• EASA Part‑66 B1 and/or B2 aircraft maintenance licence.
• Airbus A330 type rating; military A330 MRTT rating is a strong advantage.
• Experience in base (heavy checks) or line maintenance on A330 aircraft within a Part‑145 organisation.
• Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.
• Good technical English proficiency.
