Music Teacher

About the role

The Music Teacher will deliver engaging music lessons to students at Laude San Pedro International College, preparing lesson plans, assessments, and classroom materials. The role involves close collaboration with academic coordinators, psychologists, and parents to support student learning and well‑being.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and email lesson plans in advance to the Head of Level and Academic Coordinator.
• Prepare and organise class materials, maintain the grade book, and enter grades on schedule.
• Design monthly assessments, grade student work, and keep the classroom decorated with relevant resources.
• Supervise playground duties, attend meetings, workshops, and parent events.
• Collaborate with the Psychology Department to support students with academic, behavioral, or special‑needs issues.
• Record daily attendance, manage homework boards, and encourage student participation in school activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience.
• Advanced proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing).
• Commitment to safeguarding, diversity, equity, and inclusion principles.

Required skills

• Proficiency with digital tools.
• Intermediate-level Microsoft Office skills.
