Occupational Health Physician – Getafe (Madrid)

About the role

Airbus Defence and Space is seeking an Occupational Health Physician to join its Medical & Occupational Health Team at the Getafe site. You will be part of a multidisciplinary unit dedicated to protecting the health, safety, and well‑being of all employees through preventive medicine, emergency response, and health promotion.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive medical surveillance tailored to specific job profiles and risk exposures.
• Identify, assess, and refer vulnerable employees to appropriate specialists.
• Design, pilot, and participate in occupational health projects in collaboration with specialized teams.
• Provide fitness‑to‑work recommendations based on workplace risks and individual health assessments.
• Support emergency response planning and deliver high‑quality first‑aid services on‑site.

Required profile

• University degree in Medicine with a specialization in Occupational Medicine (highly valued).
• 2‑3 years of experience in an occupational health role.
• Advanced proficiency in both English and Spanish.
• Excellent communication, strong empathy, and a proactive, hands‑on approach.
