About the role

Alsa is looking for a 3rd‑class workshop officer (mechanic/electromechanic) to join its maintenance team in Torrejón de Ardoz. You will work on a diverse fleet of electric, hybrid, gas and conventional buses, ensuring they meet the highest safety and performance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform scheduled maintenance and repairs on electric, hybrid, gas and combustion buses under the supervision of the workshop manager.
• Diagnose and resolve advanced electrical and mechanical faults.
• Install, test and maintain high‑voltage battery systems and driving‑assist sensors.
• Collaborate with the technical team to suggest and implement process improvements.

Required profile

• Medium or higher level qualification in mechanics, electromechanics or a related field.
• Interest in electric and hybrid vehicle technologies; prior experience is valued but not mandatory.
• Willingness to work rotating weekly shifts (morning 7:00‑15:00, afternoon 15:00‑23:00) and one weekend on‑call per month.
