OnSite Services Engineer

About the role

As an OnSite Services Engineer you will work directly with customers to resolve field issues, handle warranty complaints, and support site commissioning, service and repair activities. The role involves extensive travel to customer sites and requires strong technical and communication abilities.

Key responsibilities

• Process orders, prepare cost estimates, quotations and technical/commercial offer documents.
• Read and evaluate customer specifications, compile offers and build strong customer relationships.
• Perform on‑site and in‑house repairs, service pumps and hydraulic systems, and conduct vibration analysis.
• Develop and implement technical solutions for special problems and handle customer complaints.
• Coordinate with internal and external teams, ensure safe work areas and comply with safety requirements.
• Provide technical support and training during site visits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Experience with pumps, hydraulic systems, field service operations and serving customers in oil & gas, power, chemical or water industries.
• Willingness to travel 60‑80% of the time and a valid driver’s license.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken) and Microsoft Office.

Required skills

• Pumps and hydraulic system knowledge.
• Vibration analysis and hydraulic performance assessment.
• SAP modules (SD, MM, PP) – preferred.
• AutoCAD, SolidWorks or other technical drawing tools – preferred.
• Instrumentation, controls, programming knowledge – preferred.
• Familiarity with API 686 standards – preferred.
