Operations Manager – Barcelona

About the role

Sanoptis, a leading network of modern eye clinics across Europe, is looking for an Operations Manager to join its fast‑growing Spanish business. You will work on‑site in Barcelona, observing daily clinic activities and turning strategic goals into concrete operational improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Spend full days on the clinic floor, documenting every step of diagnostics, patient routing and reception that does not work.
• Translate commercial strategy into on‑site actions, drive implementation and ensure completion.
• Build and maintain operational routines, checklists and continuous‑improvement processes across operations, sales and marketing.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clinic managers and shareholding doctors, and step in as clinic manager for smaller locations.
• Track the impact of changes, report results quickly to the Commercial Director, and share best practices across sites and hubs.

Required profile

• Professional experience in a demanding environment such as strategy consulting (e.g., McKinsey, Bain, BCG) or a fast‑paced company.
• Degree in business administration, preferably with a focus on healthcare economics; healthcare experience is a plus.
• Hands‑on operational experience, entrepreneurial mindset and strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Proven ability to produce and communicate business and financial analyses at executive level.
• Flexibility to work across multiple locations and fluency in Spanish.
