PCB Design Engineer

About the role

TMEIC is seeking a PCB Design Engineer to join its U.S. Technology organization while remaining based in Valencia, Spain. You will work daily with U.S.-based engineers on next‑generation embedded systems and power electronics, contributing to global R&D initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop multi‑layer PCBs for embedded and industrial electronic products.
• Create schematics, PCB layouts, bills of materials and manufacturing documentation using industry‑standard tools.
• Collaborate with embedded software, power electronics and hardware engineers on the U.S. team.
• Apply best practices in signal integrity, power integrity and EMI/EMC design.
• Generate fabrication and assembly files, support prototype bring‑up, debugging and validation.
• Coordinate with PCB manufacturers and assembly houses and participate in design reviews.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proven experience designing multi‑layer PCBs.
• Fluent English for daily communication with the U.S. team.
• Ability to work effectively in an international, hybrid environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Altium Designer, OrCAD, Cadence or KiCad.
• Strong understanding of analog, digital and mixed‑signal PCB design.
• Knowledge of PCB manufacturing processes.
• Experience with signal integrity, power integrity and EMI/EMC considerations.
• Familiarity with embedded systems and power electronics concepts.
