Pega Systems Expert – Senior Role

About the role

Santander Global Technology is looking for a senior Pega Systems Expert to join its Boadilla del Monte office. You will translate functional requirements into technical solutions on the PEGA platform, ensuring secure, reliable and sustainable delivery for the bank’s digital transformation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse business needs and create detailed technical specifications for PEGA implementations.
• Design and develop data models and reusable assets in accordance with group IT standards.
• Document solutions using Santander’s internal tools and certify their integration with other components.
• Perform testing and quality assurance to guarantee high‑quality releases.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support complex issues and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Approximately 6 years of overall IT experience.
• At least 4 years of hands‑on experience with PEGA Systems (N2 – Senior System Architect, N3 – Lead System Architect).
• Strong analytical skills and ability to produce clear technical documentation.
• Experience working in large, multi‑national technology environments is a plus.
