People & Culture Manager – Manufacturing Site

About the role

ICM Farmak is seeking a People & Culture Manager to lead the HR function at its sterile injectables manufacturing site in Barberà del Vallès, near Barcelona. Reporting to the General Manager and the Chief People & Culture Officer, you will act as a strategic partner, aligning people strategy with operational goals while ensuring full compliance with Spanish labor legislation.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic business partner to plant management, translating corporate HR strategy into local action plans.
• Manage labor relations, including works council and union negotiations, collective bargaining, and conflict resolution.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, performance management, succession planning, and employee engagement initiatives.
• Administer payroll, compensation, benefits, and ensure compliance with internal policies and ethical standards.
• Monitor HR KPIs such as turnover, absenteeism, and headcount, and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• University degree in Labor Relations, Psychology, Law, Business Administration or a related field; Master’s or postgraduate HR studies preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience as an HR Manager or HR Business Partner.
• Strong background in labor relations and union negotiations.
• Experience in industrial or pharmaceutical environments is highly valued.
• Fluent in Spanish and English.
