People Relations Senior Advisor

About the role

The People Relations Senior Advisor will act as the focal point for integrated People Relations activities across the South Europe region. Working in a global team, you will support the Regional People Relations Manager in delivering the employee and industrial relations strategy, ensuring compliance and fostering a future‑focused workplace.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate, prepare and resolve employee and industrial relations cases, including grievances, disciplinary actions, investigations and consultations.
• Prepare legal documents and act as the primary partner for HR Business Partners and business leaders on complex relations matters.
• Provide risk analyses, scenario planning and escalation support to the People Relations Manager.
• Collaborate with external lawyers and assess legal, reputational and operational risk exposure.
• Support negotiations with employee representative bodies and trade unions, including collective labour agreements and social plans.
• Deliver dedicated People Relations support to the Castellón Refinery (≈50%) and other businesses across Spain and South Europe as needed.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in employee and industrial relations, preferably within a multinational environment.
• Strong analytical and risk‑assessment capabilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a trusted advisor to senior leaders.
