PHP Backend Developer – Marbella, Spain

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic PHP Backend Developer to join our technology team in Marbella, Spain. You will work on a commercial SaaS platform serving the luxury concierge market, collaborating closely with a small, high‑performing team during an exciting growth phase.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance our enterprise‑grade SaaS platform and middleware.
• Design, build, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Create and maintain a robust component library for product roll‑outs.
• Administer MongoDB databases using Cloud Manager.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from design to deployment.
• Collaborate with front‑end developers to integrate UI components.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve bugs and technical issues.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of full‑stack web development experience.
• Self‑motivated, reliable, and able to work well in a team.
• Enthusiastic about learning new technologies and improving code quality.

Required skills

• HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript, AngularJS, Mustache.
• MongoDB (Cloud Manager) and custom PHP frameworks.
• Experience with PHP MVC frameworks, AJAX, REST/SOAP APIs.
• Git/Bitbucket version control.
• Familiarity with AWS services.
• Knowledge of Cordova for mobile app development (advantage).
