Plant Controller

About the role

StarkStark is looking for a hands‑on Plant Controller to bring cost discipline, operational transparency, and analytical rigor to its fast‑growing electric motorcycle manufacturing plant in Sant Boi, Barcelona. The role sits at the intersection of Operations, Finance, and Engineering, owning plant‑level financial performance, standard costing, and margin visibility for a high‑mix wiring‑harness environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain transparent cost reporting across production lines, product families and shifts, highlighting standard vs. actual costs, labor efficiency, scrap, rework, yield and material variances.
• Own the standard cost model for wiring‑harness products, validating BOM accuracy, labor routings and overhead absorption.
• Partner with plant management to challenge labor utilization, scrap rates, overtime spend and line efficiency, driving data‑driven decision‑making.
• Monitor product‑level and line‑level margins, identify cost leakage points and implement corrective actions during factory ramp‑up.
• Support budgeting, rolling forecasts and capacity/headcount planning, creating tools to simulate cost impacts of new programs, automation investments and commodity price changes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in plant or manufacturing finance, cost accounting or controlling.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication skills to influence cross‑functional teams.
• Detail‑oriented and comfortable working in a fast‑paced, high‑mix production environment.
