Platform Engineer

About the role

Join Multiverse Computing’s Platform Engineering team to own the deployment, integration, and operation of the Foundry AI development platform across diverse environments, from public cloud to air‑gapped on‑premises installations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain Python services that integrate external applications, engines, and infrastructure inside Foundry.
• Own deployment packaging (Helm charts, operators, offline bundles) and ensure installability across Kubernetes distributions, cloud providers, sovereign clouds, and air‑gapped environments.
• Integrate Foundry with customer‑side infrastructure such as OIDC/SAML identity providers, object storage, container registries, ingress, network policies, and GPU scheduling.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines, release processes, and multi‑environment test matrices to validate every supported deployment target.

Required profile

• 5+ years of platform, infrastructure, or backend engineering experience, with at least 2 years shipping production workloads on Kubernetes.
• 3+ years writing production‑grade Python services, including API design, data modelling, testing, and packaging.
• Proven experience building and maintaining REST APIs with FastAPI, Django REST Framework or similar.
• Hands‑on experience with Helm, Kubernetes packaging, and operating software in on‑premises, private‑cloud, or air‑gapped environments.
