Platform / Infrastructure Engineer (Quotient AI Specialist)

About the role

Oliver Wyman, a global management consulting firm, is hiring a Platform / Infrastructure Engineer in Madrid for its Quotient AI team. WAVE is a newly created team within Quotient focused on accelerating AI-enabled business development; as Platform / Infrastructure Engineer you will own the foundations that let the team prototype quickly, deploy reliably and scale with confidence. The role suits someone who enjoys building dependable engineering foundations and self-serve platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain the team's cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines.
• Set up CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code and disaster-recovery capabilities so solutions move from prototype to deployment quickly and repeatably.
• Provide infrastructure as a service through self-serve environments that do not bottleneck on you.
• Advise on the right infrastructure setup for each solution, including what is needed to support scale.
• Work closely with AI Engineers so their work can be deployed, monitored and maintained effectively.
• Help the team make practical choices on environment design, release management and operational resilience.
• Support a consistent engineering experience and a platform mindset where infrastructure is treated as a product.

Required profile

• Comfortable building and running internal platforms that other engineers depend on.
• Combines strong engineering depth with practical judgement, and enjoys working in a small team.
• Full professional English.
• Preferred: experience supporting data and AI workloads in production, familiarity with Polaris, experience in a fast-moving environment with multiple concurrent initiatives, and experience shaping platform standards or reusable engineering patterns.

Required skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes and a major cloud platform, ideally Azure and/or AWS.
• Solid experience with CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code.
• Experience designing and supporting disaster-recovery capabilities.
