Principal DevOps Engineer for Industrial AI Cloud

About the role

T-Systems Iberia is recruiting a Principal DevOps Engineer for its Industrial AI Cloud project, developed jointly with NVIDIA and Deutsche Telekom. The role guides enterprise customers through onboarding, training and early adoption of the AI platform, acting as a trusted technical advisor on GPU clusters and AI toolchains. It is a full-time position.

Key responsibilities

• Advise customers on all technical aspects of GPU infrastructure and platform usage.
• Lead onboarding and training, mentoring customer specialists on using GPU clusters and AI environments.
• Design and run PoCs, including environment setup, data processing pipelines and deployment workflows.
• Translate business needs into technical specifications and support performance tuning, troubleshooting and validation.
• Act as the main technical contact, coordinating infrastructure, networking, automation, security and AI services teams.
• Propose automation concepts and ensure reliability, scalability and security best practices.
• Support monitoring, observability and capacity planning for AI workloads and GPU utilization.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience designing and delivering systems on IaaS, PaaS and SaaS.
• Experience with GPU-based infrastructure.
• Strong Linux experience.
• English at B2 level (German is an advantage).
• Basic project management and leadership skills; intermediate quality management.

Required skills

• Kubernetes and container technologies.
• Expert scripting in Python and Bash.
• Automation tools such as Ansible, Salt-Stack, Terraform and Helm.
• CI/CD in Kubernetes, Git (GitHub, GitLab) and GitHub Actions or GitLab CI/CD.
• Monitoring and visualization tools such as Grafana and Prometheus.
