Process Engineer

About the role

The Process Engineer will support the efficiency and reliability of manufacturing operations at a plant in Vigo. Working closely with production teams, suppliers and other engineers, you will help create safe, cost‑effective and scalable manufacturing systems.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, productivity and safety.
• Design equipment layouts, workflows and machine setups to optimise plant utilisation.
• Analyse production data and conduct feasibility and cost studies for new or improved solutions.
• Create and maintain work instructions, standard operating procedures and quality documentation.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, suppliers and vendors to resolve production issues and support new materials or technologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in manufacturing or industrial engineering.
• Working knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment and shop‑floor operations.
• Experience using data and standard procedures to solve routine manufacturing problems.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams and external partners.
