Product Designer – Accessories & Retail Displays

About the role

Red Pimiento is looking for an English‑speaking Product Designer to join its Barcelona team. You will work on a variety of accessories, tech products, retail displays, promotional items and branded merchandise for international brands, seeing your concepts evolve from sketches to finished products.

Key responsibilities

• Develop creative concepts and design proposals aligned with client briefs, brand positioning and market trends.
• Create sketches, moodboards, visual presentations and detailed technical drawings, blueprints, specifications and BOMs.
• Research materials, trends, competitors and user needs to support design decisions.
• Collaborate with account management, sourcing, manufacturing teams and external suppliers throughout prototyping, sampling and production.
• Review prototypes and samples, identify improvements and implement refinements while respecting manufacturing constraints.
• Support client presentations, product photoshoots and ensure high quality, detail and consistency across all outputs.

Required profile

• Creative, structured and hands‑on with strong organisational abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial or product design.

Required skills

• Technical drawing and blueprint creation.
• Bill of Materials (BOM) preparation.
• Material selection and specification.
