Product Designer – Accessories & Tech (Barcelona)

About the role

Red Pimiento is looking for an English‑speaking Product Designer to join its Barcelona studio. You will work on a variety of accessories, tech products, retail displays and branded merchandise, guiding projects from concept through production.

Key responsibilities

• Develop creative concepts and product ideas that align with client briefs, brand positioning and market trends.
• Create sketches, moodboards, visual presentations and design proposals for international clients.
• Design accessories such as bags, cases, pouches, lifestyle goods and retail solutions.
• Research materials, trends, competitors and user needs to support design recommendations.
• Collaborate with account management to incorporate client feedback and support presentations and product photoshoots.
• Produce detailed technical drawings, specifications, BOMs and production documentation.
• Select materials, finishes and construction methods according to project requirements.
• Work closely with sourcing, manufacturing teams, suppliers and factories during prototyping, sampling and production.
• Review prototypes, identify improvements and implement design refinements while respecting manufacturing constraints.

Required profile

• Creative, structured and hands‑on attitude with strong organisational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• 3+ years of experience in Industrial Design, Product Design, Accessories Design or related fields.
• Strong understanding of materials, construction methods, manufacturing processes and product development.
