Project Assistant (PMO) – Project Delivery Practitioner

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Project Assistant (PMO) – Project Delivery Practitioner to support large‑scale, multi‑site projects for a leading pharma and diagnostics organization. The role will operate within a global shared‑service environment, ensuring project deliverables are tracked, risks are managed and governance is applied across multiple streams.

Key responsibilities

• Track and manage project deliverables, ensuring milestones and gate activities are completed on schedule.
• Identify, log and escalate risks and issues early, providing visibility and supporting mitigation actions.
• Support project planning, scheduling and governance across several streams and stakeholders.
• Maintain clear and consistent project status reporting for teams and leadership.
• Collaborate with PMO Leads, Integration Managers, Delivery Managers and Business Analysts to align dependencies and priorities.
• Ensure project management methodology, tools and reporting standards are correctly implemented.
• Assist in onboarding, coaching and coordinating project team members on PMO processes and best practices.
• Monitor acceptance criteria, stage gates and compliance requirements throughout project phases.

Required profile

• Degree in Business, Engineering or a related field; Project Management certification is a plus.
• Experience in PMO or Project Management within large, complex, international projects.
• Understanding of ERP environments, preferably SAP.
• Strong planning, reporting and stakeholder coordination abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, matrix environment.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills in English.
